Cangzhou is located in the southeast of Hebei Province, west of the Bohai Sea, south of Beijing and Tianjin, north of Shandong, Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal runs through the city.Cangzhou is one of the open economic zones and coastal cities determined by the State Council.It is also a petrochemical base and an important land and sea transportation hub in the north.It is an important part of the Bohai Rim Economic Zone and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Metropolitan Area.
The top ten "Cangzhou Business Cards" are the City of Oil, the Capital of Pipelines, Huanghua Port, Iron Lion, the Grand Canal (Cangzhou section), custom of lion dance, Wuqiao acrobatics, Ziziphus jujuba,the place where the Book of Songs heritage and Ji Xiaolan, a famous Qing Dynasty litterateur.



The Cangzhou Chamber of Commerce in Shijiazhuang was sponsored by Cangzhou people who were engaged in production and operation in Shijiazhuang City. It was the first chamber of Commerce established in the province. At present, the chamber of Commerce has 130 member units and more than 160 members.
